SPOC Service
The SDG&E Single Point of Contact (SPOC) service is a no cost one-stop shop to help property owners and managers achieve energy goals by identifying program and financial resources, program layering, and offering benchmarking guidance. Complete an interest form to start your energy saving journey.
Available Multifamily Programs
Multifamily Energy Savings (MFES)
Multifamily income-qualifying properties can receive no-cost whole building energy-saving upgrades.
No Cost or Rebated Upgrades
We offer energy-efficient improvements at no cost to you. Working with our authorized contractor, and you can make the energy-efficient improvements to your multifamily buildings that have two or more units.
Low Income Weatherization Program (LIWP)
Provides low-income households with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy efficiency upgrades at no cost to residents.
Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing (SOMAH)
This program provides financial incentives to property owners installing solar on qualifying multi-unit housing throughout California.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Besides helping promote energy conservation, having a high-quality charging station is a great perk for attracting new tenants. Plus, there’s virtually no work for you and all energy is billed directly to your tenants.
Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)
This program provides financial incentives to California residents and business owners for installing clean and efficient energy technologies that lower emissions and reduce on-site electric demand.
On-Bill Financing
Receive 0% financing for qualifying energy-efficient common area improvements through your SDG&E bill.
GoGreen Financing
Market-rate and affordable multifamily property owners can apply for financing for 100% of project costs for common area and in-unit energy efficiency upgrades.
Benchmarking
Not sure where to start your energy efficiency journey? Benchmarking your building allows you to measure the energy performance of your property over time, relative to similar buildings.
